To create the card you will need
Cardstock
patterned paper
jute ribbon
border sticker
chipboard sticker
rhinestones
metal sheet {tenSecond Studio)
metal tools
alcohol ink
liquid adhesive
sanding block
tensecond studios texture plates
Step 1- Cut cardstock at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score at 4 1/4". Set aside. Cut orange cardstock at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". Cut two pieces of patterned paper 2 3/8" x 4 1/4". Adhere to orange cardstock
Step 2- Apply border sticker to seam. Cut jute ribbon at 5". Wrap around seam of patterned paper and adhere to back side of card front.
Step 3- Cut out large oval from orange cardstock and layer onto card front using pop dots. Cut out 2 1/8" x 2 5/8" piece blue patterned paper. Adhere to card front using pop dots. Add cracked glass piece to card front.
Step 4- on Appletini metal, rub designs from 3 separate plates with stump.
Step 5- Sand raised surfaces with sand block.
Step 6- Using eraser tool, smooth entire surfaces of metal.
Step 7- trace flower onto back side of metal 3 times. I used the acrylic piece that the June kit stamp came on for my template. Cut out flowers
Step 8- Apply alcohol ink to blending tool and dab flowers.
Step 9- Take one flower and using small bristle paint brush, roll edges of petals. Repeat with second flower.
Step 10- Cut off one petal from last flower. Roll 4 remaining petals.
Step 11- roll single petal tightly.
Step 12- Glue each layer of flower into larger layer
Step 13- Finish card with rhinestones, tag, sentiment.
Here is the final card and a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for making my time here at Scrapbook Star so enjoyable. I've been blessed to work here and I hope that I've given you inspiration along the way.
Again
Thank you from the bottom of my heart
